of tone, colour, line, pattern, shape, texture
and form through still life.
- develop pupils understanding of the manufacture and
significance of masks in other cultures, including Africa.
- Introduce pupils to the Futeristic movement and related
adbstract art
- strengthen knowledge of the design process within art
projects

- Explore sculpture and painting techniques,
using papier mache, on a cross curricular theme.

- This is continuous on:
- a weekly basis where class work
is monitored
- homework, which is set and marked
every two weeks
- a termly basis as projects are completed
where work is pupil and staff evaluated
- An observational drawing test
- an end of year assessment where
standards of achievement are awarded on the evidence of
what students have produced
