foundation course in ICT including:
- word processing using Microsoft
Word 2000
- spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
- Use of Publisher and comparison with Word
- provide access to ICT rooms after
school and lunchtimes (Monday - Thursday)
- use of internet for research and
data gathering. Safe and appropriate use of the Internet
- use and management of email
- modeling and measuring using MswLogo
- graphics using Ms paint and photoshop
elements
- written work comparing and analysing
documents
- presentations using powerpoint
- more able pupils will be offered
the opportunity to take exams to enable them to attain
the European Computer Driving License
