| National
Drugs Helpline |
The helpline offers free and confidential
advice to callers about any drug-related issue. The service is
there for anyone concerned with drugs, not just drug users themselves.
The Helpline also functions as a means of re-directing callers
to relevant organisations or self-help groups in their vicinity.
The telephone lines are open 24 hours a day. All calls are free.
Material
Literature is available on different types of illegal drugs,
their physical appearance and the health risks associated with
them. Printed advice is also available for parents concerned
about drug use in their children. Emergency advice (e.g. in
the event of bad drug reaction) is also available. |
