NATIONAL CURRICULUM KEY STAGE 3 TESTS

As you may be aware, the Key Stage 3 tests for all Year 9 Students in England and Wales will take place between 7th and 13th May 2002. The arrangements for Hall Mead students are outlined below:
     
  MORNING AFTERNOON
Tuesday 7th May ENGLISH 1 9:15 - 11:00 ENGLISH 2 1:45 - 3:00

Wednesday 8th May

MATHS - Mental Arithmetic for all candidates except Level 3-5 9:10 - 9:30

MATHS 1 9:45 - 10:45

Mental Arithmetic for candidates Level 3-5 only 10:50 - 11:10

MATHS 2 1:30 - 2:30
Thursday 9th May ENGLISH Extension Paper 9:15 - 10.45  
Friday 10th May SCIENCE 1 9:00 - 10:00 SCIENCE 2 1:30 - 2:30
Monday 13th May SCIENCE Extension Paper 9:00 - 10:00  
     

Students should register as normal on Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th mornings only. Afternoon sessions students should report for their test at 1:15 pm except Tuesday 7th when they should register as normal. On Friday 10th students should report for their test at 8:45 am for the morning session and 1:15 pm for the afternoon session.

Students will need to provide a pen, pencil, ruler and rubber for each test plus a calculator for Science and Maths Paper 2 (a calculator is not allowed for Maths Paper 1 or the Mental Arithmetic tests).

In the event of absence on test days, please telephone the School Office as soon as possible and leave a message with the Secretary. An absence note will be required in the normal way.
