It is of paramount importance
that liaison between secondary and primary schools guarantees continuity
for all pupils, not only in terms of minimising their concerns about
moving to a different, larger school, but also in terms of curriculum.
A team of staff liaises closely
with colleagues in feeder Primary Schools to ensure that transfer
is as smooth as possible. Prospective pupils are given the opportunity
to enjoy lessons at Hall Mead towards the end of their final year
in their junior school.
The School is committed to collaboration within
subject areas and to the sharing of expertise and resources with Primary
Schools in the locality.
Hall Mead staff teach Pupils from our feeder schools
in a range of subjects including modern foreign languages, ICT, Maths,
Tecnology and Music. The new E-Learning Centre is proving to be a
great asset in delivering these lessons.
