How the Library works

  • You are automatically a member of the school library from your first day at Hall Mead you do not need to join
  • The Library is open every day, throughout the school day on most days it will also stay open after school until at least 4.00pm
  • We will always try to help you find any information you need this does not mean we will find it for you, but we will show you how to find it for you, but we will show you how to find it.
  • If we do not have the information you are looking for we will try to obtain it for you, or suggest other places which could help you.
  • We will make sure that the school library is a place where you can study without distraction and read quietly.
  • You may borrow two books at any one time for reading and homework. Sometimes, if you need books urgently, you are allowed more.
