Geography is about real people in real places. Where people
are now and in the future is important.
Geographical enquiry investigates many
contemporary global issues. Examples are climate change and
extreme weather, population and resource issues and studies
of natural disasters.
The study of these topics help pupils
understand their place in a changing world.
