2nd October 2007
College Transfer Evening – Thursday 11th October
As you will be aware, Hall Mead School, in common with other
schools in Havering, does not provide Sixth Form courses. Most
of our pupils currently in Year 11 will, of course, wish to
remain in full-time education and provision for them will be
made at Havering Sixth Form College and Havering College of
Further and Higher Education. The School is working in close
partnership with the colleges to ensure that the transition
is as smooth as possible for our pupils.
You are cordially invited to attend a meeting on Thursday 11th
October at which representatives of each college will give details
of what is to be offered in 2008-2009. There will be opportunities
for questions from the floor and for individual consultation.
The meeting will take place in the Great Hall and will begin
at 7.00 p.m.
I hope that you will be able to attend what promises to be
an informative event. Please complete and return the reply slip
below as soon as possible in order to help us plan our seating
arrangements.
I look forward to meeting you on the 11th.
Yours sincerely,
Geoff Doll
Head of Careers
Please note that your son/daughter will be most welcome to
join us on this evening. (school uniform is optional)
