LANGUAGE COLLEGE STATUS

With the awarding of Language College status, Hall Mead has become one of the countries first schools to be granted two specialisms. We will now be in a position to undertake further exciting work in this area of the curriculum where there are already examples of very good practice including the provision of lessons for local primary schools, the fast-tracking of our most able linguists and a unique partnership with Paulsen-Gymnasium in Berlin.

We are committed to the role of providing a lead in the fields of technology and languages in order to ensure that our young people are given the skills to shape the 21st century.
